Arah Jane Grace Potter
May 18th, 1926 - December 27th, 2017

Jane Potter, passed away peacefully on December 27, 2017, at the age of 91 years.

Jane will be lovingly remembered by her family, son Rick (Deb) Kaufman of Kelowna, BC; grandchildren Vanessa (Nathan) Shedd of Calgary, AB, Silas Kaufman of Calgary, AB and Julie Kaufman of Surrey, BC; and great-grandchildren Maxwell and Brielle Shedd and Eric Kaufman. Jane was predeceased by her husband Alan Raymond Potter and daughter Leslie Jane Potter.

Born in Edmonton on May 18, 1926, Jane travelled frequently with her husband and spent over 25 years in Mesa for the winters during their retirement. Jane was talented in many ways, she was an artist at the Steeple Arts and taught art in Mesa. Jane was also an expert seamstress and gardener. She spent many decades with the Alberta Kennel Association, where she and Leslie showed their standard poodles.

The family would like to extend their deep appreciation to all of the staff and volunteers on the third floor at Carewest George Boyack for their excellent care and love.

No formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jane’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society (www.alzheimer.ca)
