Condolence: My condolences to my Uncle Will and my mom Frances. I will always remember visiting Auntie June and seeing her dogs and playing on the piano with my sister and I were kids. My most cherished memory of Auntie June, was getting a card from her (we moved to BC years earlier) after my daughter was born. I was going through quite a severe post partum depression and getting that card reminded me of the love and care she had for me. I won't forget that. What gives me happiness at this sad time, is she is now in Heaven with my Grandma who she had a very close relationship with, and she is finally free from the torture of Alzheimer's Disease. I am so amazed and proud of my Uncle taking care of June over these years, but more than anything, he always saw that special person June was no matter what. We will all miss you Auntie June

Condolence: My Aunt June, or Junie as I often called her, entered my life when I was just a few months old and was a major part of it until just moments before she passed. She was more like a second mom than an aunt and we formed a very special bond from the very beginning which only grew stronger as the years went by. Her life was so full between her dogs, her teaching, her friends, her house and her garden. I don't know how she did it all as a single lady, she was a groundbreaker in so many ways. She was also such a fun person to be around and had an infectious laugh. She loved her dogs like they were her kids, and held her friends and family close to her heart. Even as her Alzheimer's grew worse and worse, elements of her sweet and loving nature still shone through. I am so proud of her for putting up the good fight until the very end. I loved her so much, miss her mightily and will never forget her.

Condolence: I extend my deepest condolences to Will, to Frances and Fred,and to all June Southard's extended family and friends upon her repose. June was kind, caring, hugely accepting and open-hearted; and all who knew her are diminished by her passing. Yet the Good News is that "as in Adam all die, even so in Christ all shall be made alive" (1 Corinthians 15:22). So this is not "Good-bye forever" but just "See you later." May her memory be eternal.

Condolence: I am sad to hear about June passing away. I remember meeting June as we fostered one of her dogs, Timothy Star Gazer. We loved that little dog and Barry used to go to June's house for Tim's haircuts. She was so good with the dogs and we had a lot of laughs with her.
