William "Bill" Hopewell
March 10th, 1943 - November 19th, 2017

On Sunday, November 19, 2017, at the age of 74, Bill Hopewell passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer; his wife and son were by his side. Bill leaves behind his beloved wife Nina, of 52 years; his beloved son, Randy; his dog and companion Buddy; as well as all of his family spread across Canada in Ontario, Quebec and Alberta. Bill had a special place in his heart for his many friends, especially his best buddies Yvon and Brian, as well as his many coworkers. In Bill’s retirement years, he became a bit of a homebody. His favorite thing to do was to watch sports on TV, especially his beloved HABS. His hobbies also included camping, playing cards, and spending time with his family.

In honour of Bill’s wishes, no formal service will be held.
