Condolence: Condolences to the family of Paul Loreque. He was a great influence with so many people. It was an honour to have known Paul in Winnipeg. He was a person of confidence who shared the passion of music and the spirit of Jesus with me when I was a new guitar player.

Condolence: My family and I wish to extend our sincerest condolences to the Loreque family for the loss of their husband and father. The Paul I knew was as big as life and never hesitated to help when needed. My first encounter with Paul was with the roar of his Harley when he moved in next door. He was a devoted father to his children and worked very hard as a provider. We worked together within a group of bike riders to put together a fund raiser for two summers for under privileged children in wheel chairs. We enjoyed many quiet times at the fire pit. His quiet time has come to him now as he rests with his maker. May he rest in peace!

Condolence: Paul's humour and music will be sadly missed here on earth, but he will be a great addition to Heaven's "band of angels".

May The Lord provide comfort to Sue and Paul's family

Condolence: I have spoken with Sue to express my regrets for her loss, and I want to let other members of Paul's family know he will be sorely missed.

I was privileged to become acquainted with Paul as we both attended Rosscarrock Church of Christ. Paul and I shared a love of music and I certainly appreciated and enjoyed his remarkable gifts a lead guitarist and musician. As a young person, Paul had moved in the same Winnipeg musical circles that gave birth to Burton Cummings and The Guess Who and Bachman Turner Overdrive. Paul had played with many from those Winnipeg circles and had travelled from one end of North America to the other with a variety of rock bands performing original material as well as covers.

Imagine my surprise when I attended services at Rosscarrock and heard someone of Paul's calibre playing lead guitar and improvising riffs on the fly while accompanying congregational singing or during instrumental interludes. What a talent!

But more than this, Paul loved his family, and desired the best for each one. Paul was a very principled man, and his principles were informed by his Christian faith. Above all, Paul loved his Lord Jesus in whose arms he now rests and whom he trusted for his eternal hope.

His friend and brother in Christ,

Russ
