Gaston Guindon
June 25th, 1942 - November 13th, 2017

Gaston (Gus ) passed away peacefully at the age of 75, after a courageous 10 month battle with cancer. He was predeceased by his parents, Jean-Marie and Victorinne , as well as by his sons, Steve and Eric. He is survived by his wife, Francoise (nee St-Amour) of Calgary, his children Richard (Doreen) of Toronto, John of Ottawa, Danielle (Michel) of Fort McMurray, Dave (Karen) of Chelmsford, and Rene of Calgary. He is also survived by his grandchildren Andrea, Kaylee, Darren, Jacob, Thomas, Justin, Mathew, Joel and Sydney.

Gaston was born in Opasatika, Ontario and worked as a hard rock miner for the majority of his life. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. The family will be holding a celebration of life for Gaston at a later date next summer. The celebration will take place in Ontario and the interment of his ashes will be at his son Eric's gravesite in Ramore, Ontario.
