Donald George Dale Groves
April 12, 1946 – November 10, 2017
Donald George Dale Groves born April 12, 1946 in Montreal, Quebec passed away peacefully with his wife Jean by his side on November 10, 2017 in Calgary, Alberta. He is survived by his wife Jean; brother Brian; children, Shannon, Shayne (Sandra) and Deanna; step-children Scott, Jennifer and Sage, and many grandchildren. He was pre-deceased by his parents and his beloved companion of many years, his dog Bailey.
Don spent several years serving in the Canadian Navy. He spent the remainder of his career working in bill collection and telemarketing. Don’s hobbies included golf, playing cards and socializing with friends at the local legion.
Don’s family would like to thank everyone at Southwood Hospice for caring for Don and supporting his wife during his final months.
