It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Rick New on Sunday, November 5th, 2017 at the age of 61. Rick will be dearly missed by his wife Jeanne and their blended family - daughter Nanette (Steve) Breker and their children Noah, Jo, Eli and Sam; son Dan (Kaeli) New; and son Brett (Courtney) Tromburg; brothers Ken (Karen) New, Craig (Janice) New and Bruce (Joyce) New; and his mother Gladys New. He will also be missed by his fur babies Gimli and Pippin. He was predeceased by his father Allen.

We will miss his love of life with family and friends. We will cherish the memory of his smile and laugh.

A Celebration of Rick's Life will be held at Commons Church (2404 Kensington Rd NW) on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
