Doug Lausen of Calgary Alberta passed away on November 5, 2017, at the age of 69 years, after a lengthy battle with cancer. Doug was born and raised in the Bowden area, the son of Spence and Rosemary Lausen. He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Laura Slaymaker, Russell Lausen (Jule) , Karen Lausen, Kevin Lausen (Catharina), Ken Lausen. Special Friends Sandy and Boyd Gehue, and his little buddy Kaleb. Along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Doug loved the life of the long haul trucker, driving millions of Kilometers, hauling the freight that we all use everyday. He will be missed by his family, friends, and his colleagues in the trucking community.
