Jacqueline Ellen Cumming
July 31, 1940 – October 26, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jacqueline Ellen Cumming; beloved wife of James B. Cumming, who pre deceased her on January 24, 2013. Jacqueline passed away peacefully after fighting a long and heroic battle with Alzheimer's disease. Known for her boundless energy and irrepressible spirit, Jacqueline was a much loved and highly valued member of her church and community throughout her 77 years. Together again at last, James and Jacqueline enjoyed a wonderfully close and loving union for 53 years. Jacqueline will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Elizabeth, son Brian, plus 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her father John and mother Edith.
Jacqueline will be laid to rest at Queens Park Cemetery (3219 4 St NW, Calgary, AB) at 11:00 am, prior to her Memorial Service. The Memorial Service will be held at First Alliance Church (12345 40 St SE, Calgary, AB) on Thursday, November 2, 2017 at 1:00 pm.
