Obituary for Thomas Charles "Tom" Bridle

Thomas Charles "Tom" Bridle
BRIDLE, Tom (THOMAS) CHARLES

Tom was born April 1, 1930 in Elbow, Saskatchewan. He loved people and life and is survived by his daughter Wendy and many, many friends. Tom was predeceased by his wife Bert, son Bob (Robert) and daughter Sylvia Brown (Bridle). He has punched his winning ticket and now we are returning him to sender. May he rest in peace in the arms of the Lord.

Tom spent his life in Cochrane working for Domtar Wood Preserving until he retired in 1985. After he retired he thought that retired life was not for him, and became manager at Varsity Estates complex. He worked for a man he truly admired – Robert Carswell. He stayed there until he did retire at the young age of 84 years old. He was a jack of all trades and a true prankster. He loved all animals especially his little puppies Rufus and Maggie who went everywhere with him.
