December 14th, 1976 - October 13th, 2017
It is with great sadness that the family of Laura Isabel Bowman (McGugan) announces her passing suddenly at the age of 40 years, on Friday, October 13, 2017.
Laura was born in Brampton Ontario on December 14, 1976 and moved with her family to Calgary in 1990. She met her husband Michael in 2000 and they had two beautiful children together. In Calgary, Laura worked at the Taco Time in the Sunridge Mall followed by a waitress position at the Black Bull and then worked for her certificate as an Optician, while being employed at The Bay Optical at the time of her passing. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her children, family and friends, as well as swimming, hot tubbing and camping.
Laura will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Michael Bowman and her children Jayden and Alyssa Bowman. Her father Brian McGugan (Pat), and her bother Paul McGugan. She will also be forever remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, extended family and dear friends. Laura was predeceased by her mother, Linda McGugan.
A Memorial Service will be held at Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services (105 - 4715 13 St NE, Calgary, AB) on Saturday October 28, 2017 at 2:00 pm, with Mike Jones officiating.
