Brenda Elaine Reimer

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Brenda Elaine Reimer (nee Janzen) in Calgary on Friday, October 13, 2017 at the age of 67 years.

Brenda was born in Waldheim, Saskatchewan on July 1, 1950 to parents Waldo and Irene Janzen. At age 20 she married Vern Reimer of Corn, Oklahoma. Shortly after, they moved to Cordell, Oklahoma to run a family machine shop business. After 20 years, they moved to Waldheim, SK. Brenda worked as an assistant administrator for the R.M. of Laird, and a few years later accepted a position as the Administrator of Hepburn. Vern and Brenda moved to Calgary in 2006, where she worked as an accountant for the past 11 years. Brenda spent her free time volunteering in the church library, reading books, crocheting, and doing word puzzles and Sudoku. She cherished any time spent with family and friends.

Brenda is remembered by her husband Vern, son Brent (Arlene), granddaughters Rosalie and Elizabeth, daughter Tara (Phil), and grandchildren Sidney and Tyler. She is also remembered by her brother Brian (Rita) and their children and grandchildren.
