Una Thomas Connell (née Randall)
April 8, 1927 - June 5, 2018

Una Connell passed away peacefully on June 5, 2018 at Monterey Seniors Village, Calgary, at the age of 91. Una lived a very active, interesting life raising her family and achieved RNA accreditation (Registered Nursing Assistant). She enjoyed travel in several continents, and was born in Sudbury, Ontario.

Una lived in various cities in Ontario, Montreal and eventually settled in her adopted home of Calgary where she was near to most of her family.

She was predeceased by Kinsman (1986) and her parents Harold (1975) and Pearl (1970) as well as her brother David who died as an infant. Una is survived by her four loving children, Peter (Hitomi), Jennifer (Bruce) and Charles, all living in Calgary, and Glenn (Nicole) of Montreal.

She was blessed with four grandchildren, Amanda, Katie, Marianne and Jeffrey, and most recently a great-grandson, Wynn, who was born in March of this year.

A Private Family Good-Bye was held on June 8th to an exceptional matriarch. Una’s final resting place will be in Sudbury with family.
