Obituary for Helena Hedwiga Kendall

November 1st, 1923, Petrikau, Poland
September 26, 2017, Calgary, Alberta
Helena immigrated to Abernethy, Saskatchewan and worked as a domestic on the McCaul farm. It was there that she met George Fred Kendall. They married and had six children: Chris, Louise, John, Alfred, Kathy, and David; they resided in Regina, Saskatchewan for the majority of their years together. Helena and Fred both enjoyed gardening, cooking, baking among her love for music, dance and flowers. She had a wonderful flare for fashion and interior/exterior decorating. They moved to Calgary in 1993 to be closer to family and grandchildren. Helena was predeceased by her husband Fred in 1995 and her mother Janina, sister Sophia, and brother Myrik. She is survived by her sister Harriet in Wheeling, Illinois.
We are grateful to the staff at McKenzie Towne Retirement Residence for all the care they provided for mom.
