HAMBROOK, David Mark
February 15, 1936 – September 27, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of David, at the age of 81 in Calgary, Alberta on September 27, 2017.
David is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Gertrude; his four children and their spouses, Rosalie (Martin), David (Elya), Kathleen (Alfred) and Daniel (Valerie); as well as many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his sister Violet; brothers Allan (Hazel), Mark (Drena); as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
He is predeceased by his parents, Mark and May; sisters Audrey, Gladys and Sheila; brothers Johnny and Lorne.
A Celebration of David’s Life will be held as part of a drop-in gathering at Choice Memorial (105 – 4715 13 Street NE) on Saturday, October 7, 2017 between 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on David’s behalf to the Canadian Cancer Society (http://www.cancer.ca/) or charity of your choice.
Special thanks to Foothills Medical Centre, Unit 31 and nursing staff at Dulcina Hospice.
