The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Byron Hodge can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: We enjoyed Barney's company on many occasions; Barney was a gentle man, and always enjoyed a good visit. The loss of his "lovely Liz" was devastating to Barney, and we hope his family find comfort in knowing the two soulmates are together again. Our sympathy to Barney's family - most importantly Andrew.

Condolence: I am so saddened to hear about Barney's passing. He walked my dog Teyah for the last few years of her life. I spent some very nice dinners with Barney, Liz, Rum, Coke and Coke Junior. Their kindness and friendship will be missed. My heartfelt condolences to the families.
