It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Donald Roger Keller, 63, on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at the Foothills Medical Centre in Calgary, Alberta. He died peacefully, surrounded by his family. Don was a beloved father, grandfather, uncle, and friend.

Born April 18, 1954 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan, Don resided in Calgary, Alberta since 1957, where the family settled. He was fourth child of Raymond and Anna (Anne) Keller. Don is survived by his son Johnathon Keller; daughters Alicia and Aimee Keller; granddaughter Olivia Anderson; brothers Floyd, Raymond and Larry Keller; sisters Carol Armour and Sharon Eros; step-daughter Jeni Shaw Evans, and numerous other relatives and friends.

Don specialized in sheet metal work and was very creative as well as an expert in his field. He was also quite the rock star who loved playing guitar and played in numerous local bands throughout his life. Don was an outstanding bass guitar player and song writer, as this was his greatest passion in life. He will be remembered by his sensitive and generous heart as well as a sense of humor that always made those around him laugh. Don will be sadly missed by everyone who was part of his life.
