July 9, 1940 – August 22, 2017
Jeannene Elaine Green, 77, of Calgary, AB, passed away on Tuesday, August 22, 2017. Born July 9, 1940 in Elnora, AB, she was the daughter of the late Leland J. Smith and Ethel Mildred Smith of Lousana, AB and was pre-deceased by her sister Shirley Willox of Calgary. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, William James Green; son Leland Rhys (Sasha) of Calgary; daughter Janelle (Ed) Hilchey of Drumheller; sister Patricia Smith-Meisner of Calgary; five grandchildren: Liam, Karis, Eden, Saidah and Ryah; as well as numerous extended family members.
Funeral Service will be held at Westview Baptist Church (1313 Ranchlands Way NW) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:30 am with viewing one hour prior to service. Graveside Service to follow at Queens Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Canada (www.kidney.ca).
