Bradley Walter Fernie
August 4, 1960 – August 15, 2017

It is with sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our brother, Brad, at the age of 57. Brad was born in Calgary to Walter and Alice Fernie (deceased) and the younger brother of Andrea Silverthorn (Rick) and Susan Vos (Brian). He was a loving uncle to Alana Wagar, Allison Owel, Jared Vos and Jordan Vos.

Brad loved acting in high school and was in many productions. He loved watching movies and listening to music (particularly the Beatles) and had an extensive collection of both. Unfortunately, he struggled with mental illness most of his life but always remained a quiet, kind and gentle soul. We know he is in a place with our loved ones where all live in harmony. He is now surrounded by light, joy and love, and is truly at peace.

The family would like to express their deep gratitude to all who have helped Brad over the years and especially the caring staff at Southwood Care Centre for the love, support and exceptional care he received there.

A private family service has been held in Brad’s memory.
