Obituary for Patricia Gail McEathron (Miller)

Patricia Gail McEathron (Miller)
It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Patricia Gail McEathron (Miller) age 63 at South Health Campus in Calgary, August 13, 2017.

Patty was born July 14, 1954 at Victoria Hospital in London, Ontario to Herbert Alvin Miller and Hazel Jean Miller. After spending a year in Italy with her good friend Lisa Sequin she returned to graduate from Sir Frederick Banting Secondary School. She moved to Vancouver and worked in the hospitality industry where she met many of her life-long friends. She later moved to Calgary where she raised 3 amazing boys, Ryan, Sean and Chad.

Patty had energy that knew no boundaries and loved making lists of things to do either for her or people who were nearby. She got her real estate license and was eventually a leasing manager for Seville Retirement Residence, Fountains of Mission and Garrison Green before retiring this year.

Patty is survived by her sons Ryan, Sean and Chad; her sister Judy (Wayne); brother Paul; brother Scott (Elena) and their son Stan; and sister Laurie. She is predeceased by her parents Herb and Hazel; her uncle Jack; aunt No-No and her beloved cat Fonzie.

Patty's passing has left a hole in the heart of everyone she came in contact with and she will be greatly missed. Her friends and family will find some solace in the fact that she is free of pain and is now enjoying a rum and coke with her mom and dad, making lists of things to do for her new friends and laughing at our antics.

Our family would like to give a special thanks to the nurses and staff in the Rapid Access Unit at South Health Campus. Best Nurses Ever!

There will be a celebration of life at site A in the Glenfield area of Fish Creek Park on Monday August 21st from 11:00 am - 3:00 pm. Afterwards, please join us at Louanne Thorsen's home at 1716 Lake Bonavista Drive SE after 3:00 pm for further celebrations.

In lieu of flowers her sons are gratefully accepting donations for a memorial at Fish Creek Park. Please contact Ryan at ryanmceathron@gmail.com.
