Albert “Al” Charles Grossman

December 28, 1942 – August 2, 2017

It is with great sadness the family of Albert “Al” Charles Grossman announces his passing on August 2, 2017 at the age of 74 years. Al was a loving father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, husband and friend.

Al will be deeply missed by his children, son Richard, daughter Leah (Moe) White, grandsons, Jesse and Matthew, sisters, Clara, Frieda (Leonard) Beer, Mary (Derwin) Emro, Frances McGuire (Hank Resch), brothers Leo (Dell), Kenneth (Hazel), James (Shelley), and Dennis (Mona) as well many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Al was predeceased by his wife Patricia, parents Alois and Theresa.

Al was born in Southey, Saskatchewan, was raised on the family farm, served in the military, and was considered a welder extraordinaire. Al was a very social and gregarious man and will be remembered fondly by many friends and acquaintances. Special thanks to the amazing ICU Doctors and Nurses at the South Health Campus Hospital for their care and all they did for him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 at 2:00 pm at Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services #105 4715 13 Street NE. Guests are invited to stay to share stories and mingle after the service.
