Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Janet Darrah can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: Aunt Jan , it's been many years since I have seen you in person. I was just a child when I last had the pleasure of your company. You have a beautiful soul and I have thought of you often. I felt very loved in your presence and I felt anyone who had the pleasure of your presence would most definately have felt the same. I remember Grandma and Grandpa talking about you during one of our car rides. I could tell they admired you, as did I. I hope you are enjoying the beautiful party they are throwing for you in heaven. I feel very fortunate to have gotten to know Jan and your family when all of you were young children living on Cable Avenue in Bay Roberts, Newfoundland. Jan was such a wonderful friend and I remember your home being such an inviting place filled with great conversation, music and and fabulous food. I will always remember Jan for her brilliant smile, vibrant personality, intellect, sense of humor and her warmth but most of all, I remember her as a very proud and devoted mother who took great pleasure in caring for her children. I was so sorry to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with you today and in the days ahead as you reflect on your memories and grieve her passing. Take good care of yourselves and each other.
