With broken hearts, we announce the passing of our Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandpa/Poppa and dear friend on July 16th, 2017. Stan is survived by his three children; Sherry (Bart), Christy (James), and Dean (Denise); grandchildren Evan, Davis, Olivia and Jocelynn; his sisters Alice, Kay and Carol and his brother Wayne. Stan also had many extended relatives and friends whom he cherished and will miss him dearly including the mother of his children Lorna, and friends Irene and Wendy. He was predeceased by his father William Rhys, mother Hazel, sister Dayle and brother Bill.

A Celebration of Stan's Life will be held at the Glenmore Sailing Club (8601 24 Street SW - South Glenmore Park) on Sunday, July 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm. If friends so desire, memorial tributes may be made to Potential Place (www.potentialplace.org), an organization close to Stan’s heart.
