Condolence: I am so sorry to hear of Rick's passing. I only knew Rick from the brief occasions when we would cross paths at the little gym we both were members of. He always had a kind word, a positive outlook and we often shared a laughed usually about ourselves. I observed how Rick interacted with others and how caring and authentically interested he was in the lives of everyone.
He did share with me a few times how lucky he felt to be married to Canh and how grateful he was for her love. Rest in peace Rick.

Never at a loss for words, Rick was a true east coaster who spoke fondly of his roots in Springhill, NS. I will always remember his phone calls and how they would end abruptly, when he would suddenly say gotta go and he would hang up. A diehard Leaf fan to the end.
