Isaac was born on July 28, 1928 in Cuauhtémoc, Chihuahua, Mexico. In 1929 his parents moved back to the Swift Current area where he grew up and attended school.

Isaac and Sarah were married on Oct 3, 1955 by Rev. Lee Fosmark in Taber, AB.

He worked at a variety of jobs before he and Sarah bought and ran the White Kaps Motel in Whitecourt, AB.

Isaac was a gentle man who always made family a priority - providing for them physically and spiritually through leadership and example.

He helped Sarah look after her mother for 5 years in Coaldale, AB. They then spent the next 14 years in the Grandview Village condo in Lethbridge and have resided in Okotoks since 2008.
His church work was important to him, serving as Sunday school teacher, an Elder, and a board member.

Isaac was a passionate veteran member of the Gideon Ministry where he volunteered from 1985-2006 in Whitecourt and Lethbridge. He handed out 1500-2000 New Testaments to Grade five students and placed many Bibles in motels, hotels, and RCMP offices. He also worked as a distribution manager in Lethbridge. He frequently came home with joyous reports of this work that he greatly enjoyed.

A favorite verse was Isaiah 55:11 “So shall my Word be which goes forth from my mouth. It will not return unto me empty without accomplishing what I desire, succeeding in the matter for which I sent it.”

Memorial Service will be held at Okotoks Evangelical Free Church (28 Westland Road) on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 2:00 pm.
