Condolence From: Barb Nelson
Condolence: Dear Greg,Ashley and Efrem
I am so sorry that you have had to suffer such a devastating loss. Susan was one of a kind and I loved loved loved working with her. She was so supportive to me when my husband was ill. I always loved her big beautiful smile. If you have ever questioned if she loved you all. SHE DID! She talked so fondly of you Greg. And she was so proud of you Ashley and you Efrem. I am very happy that I had the opportunity to meet you and pray with you at the hospital. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers in the coming year.

Condolence: I was so shocked and saddened to read of Susan's passing in The Montreal Gazette. I know my name doesn't seem familiar to you but that's because Susan and I were childhood friends. Susan and her family lived across the street from me on MacDonald Avenue in Montreal and we were friends from age 9 through 16 or 17. As is the usual norm, as we grew up we drifted apart but I have such fond memories of our childhood friendship. We spent many days together as we were good friends during that period. Naturally she towered (literally) over us all and given the cruel nature of some children I know it was hard on her but I always thought it was so cool to be so tall and reassured her that the other children were just jealous. Even her grandmother was a very towering woman. So, although I've never had the pleasure of meeting you Greg, nor her children Ashley and Efrem, please accept my deepest condolences to the three of you on your loss. It's very clear from the condolences left that she grew into a much-loved woman, mother and friend which really is not surprising. Should you or her children want to know more about our childhood please feel free to email me. Meanwhile, stay strong and know you were all deeply loved by a caring woman - hold dear the memories. I know I will.
P.S.: I noticed that Susan's brother Gary was not mentioned in her obituary - can you tell me what became of him? Thank you.

Condolence: Dear Greg Ashley & Efrem,
Please accept our condolences on your tragic loss.
Susan and I worked together for a number of years
and I am sure that on times, people thought that we
were insane as we giggled and laughed our way
through the days, those are the times that I will
remember and keep in my heart.
God bless you Susan and to those that are left
behind who loved you.

Condolence: My prayers are with all the family at this sad time. I didn't know Susan very long but I always enjoyed talking with her as we worked together at the Dove's Nest. She had a beautiful smile, a caring heart and a lovely sense of humour. I loved how she always made sure to say goodbye to everyone when she went home from work - she truly cared for others.
May the Peace of God be with you all in the days and months ahead.
