Kathleen Hilda Barrette passed away peacefully surrounded by her family in Calgary, Alberta on June 21, 2017. Kathy is survived by both her mother Mildred Burrows and her father Andy Barrette; her spouse Greg Collins; her son Ken Burley (Kari); granddaughters Mackenzie and Ann Marie; special niece Rebecca Mansell; siblings Shirl Johnson (Ronnie), Bobby Barrette (Dinah), Roger Barrette (Kathy),Terry Barrette (Tracie) and Robin Lee (Linda); as well as numerous nieces and nephews in Calgary, Ontario and Nova Scotia.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Choice Memorial (105-4715 13th Street NE) on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 from 1:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Special thanks to the staff at the Foothills Hospital units 42 and 82, Dr. Webster and Dr.Kahn. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Canadian Breast Cancer Society (www.bcsc.ca).
