Obituary for Wayne Lundvall

Wayne Lundvall
(Lionel) Wayne Lundvall
July 8, 1944- June 20, 2017

Wayne passed away quietly and has joined his beloved dogs, Sarge, Ali, Allie Mae and Bronx. He will be catching up with his brothers-in-law, Ron and Ben Wen who he shared lots of interests with over coffee. He was the "Rock" of his family and confidante, love buddy, and crossword specialist for his wife. He loved to sit and watch all the wildlife that frolicked and fed in his front yard. He was much loved by his family and will be missed dearly.

He carried on his wire and baleing enterprise "Edbaco" ethically and fairly; some called him "The Baler King".

Wayne was generous and would freely help others in need, as long as they showed a desire to change.

Wayne had a natural ability to figure out how things worked or should be done whether it was mechanical or structural. He restored many vehicles and rehabbed homes to suit his and his family's needs and wants.

He is survived by his loving family: wife Gladys, daughters Cheryl & Donna and sister Trudy (Dave) of St. Albert. He will be remembered by the families of Bill (Barb) Wen, Arlene Wen, Cathy Wen and Trudy (Lundvall) Gibson. He was predeceased by his brothers Barry and Thelmer.

The family would like to thank all the nurses and doctors of Emergency and Unit 36 at the Foothills Hospital for their kindness, understanding and support during Wayne's stay at their facility.

In keeping with Wayne's wishes, there will be no funeral service. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Kidney Foundation, The Foothills Hospital or your local Animal Humane Society.
