Life has had its many ups and downs for our Dad but he always tried to put on a smile and see the good side of things. When facing his final challenge he fought bravely and with a strength that amazed us all. Even when he was unable to crack his jokes he found a way to give us the thumbs up to let us know all was going to be ok. He loved his family and friends with all of his heart and soul. He leaves behind his partner Angela, children Trudy, Deborah, Angela and John but is reunited with his children Troy and Tracey who predeceased him. He was blessed to have a large legacy of grandchildren and greatgrandchildren and we will all miss him dearly.
He was a generous man who embodied the saying that "a friend is just someone I haven't met yet". If you needed something and he had it, it was yours. If you needed something fixed he could do it! He was a Red Seal Master Plumber and Red Seal Master Gasfitter who was a leader in his profession.
Murray loved fishing, playing crib, dancing, his daily Sudoku puzzle and a hot cup of coffee! One of his favourite things to do was getting together with friends at "The Spot". We will be having a private memorial and spreading Dad's ashes in a sentimental place.
Special thanks to the support staff at Dulcina Hospice and the ALS Society. We ask that if anyone would like to honour our Dad that they make a memorial donation to the ALS Society. Click Here To Donate
