The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Donna Thurber can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Our Friend

we will miss our dear friend Donnavery much. We were blessed to have her as a good friend for so many years. We met at ascencion lutheran church many moons ago.  When asked once what philosophy one should live by Donna Replied" Live one day at a time, live each day as it comes. When the weather was nice we would venture down to to our fave local pub for friday fish and chips and of course a beer. We had a lot of good laughs on these adventures. We both loved food. Donna was a passionate fund raiser. there is no purer symbol of dedication and tenacity than the site of our frien alone imobile in her chair at the entrance  of the fanning facing the the public equiped only with her smile her voice and a small sign requesting support for a cause that she new would not benefit her but may save someone else from suffering the way she must have. we would often compete on who could raise the most for our causes and she always won.we would be honored to take part in the MS walk in which she would participate even in the worst of weather.we loved her dearly and most of all miss her infecious laugh.
