April 25, 1968 - April 23, 2017

With her loving family by her side, Maria Rachel Tucay crossed the finish line on Sunday, April 23rd, 2017 after and eight and half year run with breast cancer. She was 48. Rachel will be forever loved and remembered by her husband Manuel "Manny"; three sons Sean, Gian and Emil; parents Ramon and Remy Kabigting; brothers Ronald (Cathy) Kabigting and Reginald Kabigting: sisters Rowena (Rudy) Raymundo and Regina (William) McGee; as well as numerous extended family members.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Patrick's Catholic Church (1414 Shawnessy Blvd. SW) on Thursday, April 27, 2017 at 11:00 am. A private family interment will be held at Sacred Heart Columbarium at a later date.

The family would like to extend their gratitude to the South Health Campus and the Southwood Hospice for the love, care and compassion they showed to Rachel during her illness.
