Condolence From: BRAD BLONJEAUX
Condolence: Although I never met Skip & he knew nothing of me I only knew of him until I was 16 as I was raised by my single mother DAWNA BLONJEAUX Jan 14, 1950- Aug 28, 2022 vaccine induced lung & brain cancer (I warned her) that had a moment enough to make me "SUPRIZE!" I ever met Skip but assumed I must look like him as I don't look like any other family member. I wondered as a kid about if I had any brothers & sisters & YIPEE I have older bro, older sister & younger bro. I've talked with 1st 2 & like siblings already can't talk with sis bur be sure fight the same & think opposite I LOVE THAT. PS- I was a realtor with Royal Lepage & discovered SKIP from 1 of his adds & called him up & explained myself LOL what a guy he stated he wasn't the SKIP Shaw I was looking for but "GOOD LUCK TRYING TO FIND HIM!" I had no expectations from him as I was 40ish when I found him but Chad told me a little & Sis told me less. As a realtor we have a NO FEAR attitude so perhaps I gave SKIP a picture of himself in me? Chad & Krystle seen my pics from baby to adult, no doubt by them we are blood. My son Darby 26 looks more like my mother & wife & my daughter Brittney -24 looks more like me & the Shaw side.

Condolence From: Fred Kerr
Condolence: Skip and I were in a comedy class together in the Spring of 2016. I admired Skip's tenacity, which was all the more remarkable in light of his illnesses. He was a cheerful, enthusiastic person with a healthy, optimistic outlook. I am glad to have known him briefly. I want to express my condolences to Nelly, who I met several times as she accompanied Skip on the comedy scene.

Condolence: I'll never forget meeting Skip and Nelly at New York Bagel in Panama and all our great lunches/suppers and shopping trips. How Nelly and I would walk and Skip would come cruising up on his scooter. Then when they returned to Calgary and I was back we'd met up again for great conversation and meals, and not forgetting the times at the casino's having a small flutter on the penny machines. Since their return to AB each of my visits back wasn't complete without time with Skip and Nelly's. I will miss those times and remember him fondly.
