Obituary for Gary Myron Coultis

Gary Myron Coultis
Coultis, Gary Myron
February 8, 1960 – October 18, 2016

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Gary Coultis on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 at the age of 56. Gary will be lovingly remembered by his wife Dianna; daughter Shannon; and mother Edna. He will be dearly missed by his brother-in-law Phillip (Carlie); nephews Daniel and Brandon; sister-in-law Jennifer (Jon) and their children David and Grace; as well as numerous extended family members and friends. He was predeceased by his father Donald.

Gary was born in Trinidad and moved to Calgary as a young boy. He attended Queen Elizabeth High School and upon graduation worked for the Bonnybrook Wastewater Treatment Plant and then worked as an RCMP officer after receiving his Law Enforcement Degree from Mount Royal. After leaving the RCMP, Gary received his Power Engineering Certificate from SAIT and then worked at the Alberta Children's Hospital as a Power Engineer.

Gary enjoyed going to car shows and loved his Ford Thunderbird antique cars. He was a collector of German militaria items, was a history buff, and had a passion for building model planes. Gary loved animals - especially his dog Austin, and enjoyed going to movies and out for dinner with his soulmate Dianna.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. To view and share photos, condolences and stories of Gary, please visit www.choicememorial.com. Donations in memory of Gary may be made to a charity of choice. Arrangements entrusted to the care of Choice Memorial Cremation & Funeral Services (403) 277-7343.
