Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Douglas Toomer can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence From: Teresa Jones
Condolence: Talecha, Mark, Linda and Dave,
Thinking of you and hoping that you are surrounded by the love of family and friends. After Doug's service, it left me feeling like I had missed out on knowing a wonderful friend. The tributes captured a generous, kind, giving, loving man, who was a fabulous father. I am sorry that I didn't get the opportunity to get to know him and call him my friend.

Condolence: To Talecha, Mark, Linda and all Friends and Family that loved and had the privilege of knowing Doug. I've only met Doug a handful of times but each and every time was a warm and wonderful experience. I know Doug was special because of the special people that surrounded his life and my only wish was that time would have allowed to get to know him better. but through his friends and family, his memory will remain strong in all the hearts and minds of those that knew him and loved him.
We will all miss you Doug, be at peace and God bless until we meet again.

Condolence: Dear Talecha, Mark, Linda, Dave and those who loved this man from Nova Scotia. And from Calgary.

You have walked in grace on this leg of Doug's journey. What better way to pass into our next stage than to be with the people we love. It's the best gift we can give! No holds barred. The essence of what matters most in life. I wish you comfort, tenderness and peace. Love Susan

Condolence From: Brian and Joan
Condolence: Our condolences to our daughter-in-law Talecha, her mother Linda and our son Mark. We are so sad for your great loss. Doug was an amazing person and a wonderful father-in- to Mark. What a comfort it was for Doug to have you both by his side, while you selflessly took care of his needs and helped him through his illness. It is always sad to say a final goodbye to someone you love and care for but I hope you take peace in the thought that Doug is now in a good place. Love Joan and Brian.
