Skip Shaw, beloved husband of Petronella "Nelly" Helena Shaw of Calgary, passed away on April 18, 2017, at the age of 70, after a courageous battle with cancer.

Skip was born in Moncton, NB and educated in Alberta and the Northwest Territories in the early to mid sixties.

Skip is survived by sons Chad (MaryAnne), and Charles "Chaz" (Kaylee), daughter Chrystal (Rick), sister Luane, and brother Gary (Catalina). He is survived by granddaughter Taylor and grandsons Benjamin, Austin and Kieran. He will be missed by niece Laura and nephews Garrison, Dallas, Dylan and Brandon.

A private family celebration of Skip's life will be held at a later date. Many thanks to Drs. Wu, Reuther, and VanRooi, and the many wonderful caring nurses at Carewest Sarcee Hospice for taking care of Skip these last five months.
